Date and Time Does Not Change In AgeVisor Touch Application

Problem: The Date and/or Time is showing incorrectly on your AgeVisor Touch, but the updated Date and/or Time will not save or the time stays incorrect after changing to correct time.

Example:

Incorrect time shown. The correct time is 11:03 am.

 

Setting the correct date and time to 11:03 am.

 

Time stays incorrect.

 

Solution: Set the AgeVisor Touch application to run as administrator, then set the time correctly again (steps shown below).



NOTE: You are able to connect a USB mouse to the side of the AgeVisor Touch. A USB mouse will may make the steps below easier depending on user.

 

 

 

 



 

 

Step 1: From the Main screen navigate to the Help screen. On the Help screen click on Exit app to exit the application.

 

You will be asked to enter your passphrase to exit the application. The default passphrase is located in the User Manual sent with the unit.

If you have changed your passphrase but you do not remember the passphrase you set, click here to open a support ticket for help on resetting your passphrase.

 

Step 2: After exiting the application you will now be taken to the Windows desktop screen of the AgeVisor Touch. To your top left you will see the AgeVisor Touch shortcut.

Hold down on the icon for 2-3 seconds then let go, you will see the shortcut menu after letting go. If you are using a mouse, simply right click on the shortcut to view the shortcut menu.

Step 3: Click on Properties.

Step 4: In Properties, go to Compatibility. In Compatibility check the box next to “Run the program as administrator”. After confirming the box next to “Run the program as administrator”, click on Apply then OK.

 

Step 5: After setting the application to run as administrator, click on the AgeVisor Touch icon on the bottom left hand corner in the task bar.

 

Step 6: Once you are back in the AgeVisor Touch application. Go to Settings, then back to Date and Time.

 

You will be asked to enter your passphrase to set the Date and Time. The default passphrase is located in the User Manual sent with the unit.

Step 7: Set the correct Date and/or Time the hit Save.

 

The correct Date and Time should now be shown and should stay corrected.
