How To Connect An IDVisor Smart Device To A Mac
Description: The directions below show how to connect and access files on your IDVisor Smart V1/V2/Plus. This will be extremely useful when wanting to export data, when needing to reinstall the IDVisor Smart app, uploading a tag list, etc.
NOTE: You will need to download the Android File Transfer tool for Mac
Step 1: Visit android.com/filetransfer.
Select Download Now to begin downloading the transfer tool.
Step 2: Open Finder then go to the Downloads.
Double click the AndroidFileTransfer.dmg to begin the installation.
Drag the Android File Transfer icon to the Applications folder.
Step 3: Open the Applications folder and double tap the Android File Transfer icon.
You will receive a pop up asking “Android File Transfer is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?”
Connect the IDVisor Smart device then select Open.
NOTE: You will need to set your IDVisor Smart device to File Transfer mode to access the file directory on the device.

Once Open is selected you will have access to the storage directory on the IDVisor Smart device.
Now when your IDVisor Smart device is connected to your Mac, you will be able to view them by starting the Android File Transfer software.
