How to enable Google Find My Device on an AgeVisor 3
The following instructions provide a step by step tutorial on how to install Google's “Find My Device” feature on an AgeVisor 3. This feature is useful to all clients in any environment. Whether the device has been misplaced or stolen, the Find My Device feature has tools to determine the device locations, lock the device, and even let you erase the contents on the device if stolen allowing you to protect customer information.
Note: Write down and save the google account address or password used on your ID Scanner, especially for the find my device feature. The device may be permanently locked if the google account or pin code is lost. If you hire an IT firm or MSP to set this up, make sure they share this information.
To begin enabling Find My Device ensure the following:
You have a Google Account for the AgeVisor 3: Learn How to Create a Google Account here. We DO NOT recommend using a personal or business Google account since it contains private information.
Follow the instructions below to begin setting up Find My Device:

- Tap the gear symbol
on the top left of the scanning screen. Tap on Exit Application (default pin code: 5678).
Once you have exited the application, swipe left to go to the app page and open Settings. Follow the Enabling Location Services and App permissions instructions below to allow the proper settings for the Find My Device app.
1. Swipe left and go to Settings. Scroll down to Location and ensure Use Location is turned on.
2. Scroll up and select Apps. Then look for Find My Device then tap on Find My Device.
3. Once Find My Device is open, 1st turn off "Pause app activity if unused". 2nd tap on the permissions that are under Not allowed and change to "Allow while using app".


- Once allowing the proper settings, swipe left to go to the app page and look for the Find Device app.
Tap on the app to open.

- Once opened, tap on Sign In.

- Enter the Google Account email you would like to use to begin the sign in process.
