Exporting Data from the AgeVisor 3

The directions provided below explains how to export data from the AgeVisor 3. Follow the instructions below to export data from you AgeVisor 3.




1. Tap on the gear  symbol on the top left hand of the screen. 




2. Tap on Device Setup.




3. Tap on Data

Enter security pin code when prompted (default pin: 5678).




4.  Tap on Go next to the Customer File or ID Scan File (see below for differences). You can also export both files. 

What is a Customer File?
A Customer File is a list of all customers on the device and includes data such as Name, Address, DOB, DL Expiry, Tag information, any recorded phone/email for the customer, and Scan Count and Time Stamps of the last visit, last scan, and original record add date.

What is an ID Scan File?
An ID Scan file is list of all customers on the device which includes data such as the Name, Address, DOB, DL information (exluding  DL number), Status result of the ID, and Tag information. This list will also show you real time scans, for example if John Doe was scanned on 1/1/2025 at 1:14 AM and was scanned again at 1/1/2025 at 1:20 AM, both scans will show on the report. 

NOTE: The DL number for every scanned customer is encrypted on the device and not provided on either file in order to protect customer data. 




5. After tapping Go to either the Customer or ID Scan file, you will be prompted with a message saying "File successfully saved in Documents/IDVisor Smart folder. Would you like to send this file?".

If you select YES, you will be sending the file via Gmail or Drive (requires Wifi connection)

You can use any of the three provided wireless methods to export your data. We recommend using Gmail or Drive as these are the most common methods used.  

We will use Gmail in the provided example. 



1. Tap on Gmail. 




2. When you tap on Gmail, you will be taken to the draft screen of Gmail where you compose a new email. 

NOTE: If no Gmail account has been added to the device, it will prompt you to create a Gmail account. We recommend creating a new gmail account specifically for the device and to avoid using any personal or business accounts. 

You should see the file attached to the email and you can enter the email address you would like the file sent to. 

Once sent, you will be returned to the Data screen of the AgeVisor 3.

 If you Select NO, the file will be saved locally on your device. You will have to retrieve the file by connecting it to your computer.

To begin adding the exported file to your computer, connect the USB from the back of device to a USB port on your computer. 

Note: If using an Apple product please visit https://www.android.com/filetransfer/ and download the Transfer tool.

 

1. Once your AV3 is connected to your computer. Open File Explorer 

Click on PDA on the left column, then double click Internal Shared Storage.




2. Once in Internal Shared Storage, double click Documents.




4. Double click on the AV3 folder. 




5. Once in the AV3 folder, you will see many files in this folder. Look for the file beginning with Customers. 

How do I know what file I am looking for?

The file name will have the type of file exported:
If you exported Customer File, the exported file will begin with Customers.
If you exported ID Scan File, the exported file will begin with CustomerScans

The exported data file name will be the File Type_Serial Number_Export date in YYYYMMDD format_Time in 24 hr format hhmmss.

Example: Customers_420524050238_20250414_162731.

Copy the file to your computer desktop or any other directory you would like on your computer. 



 The exported data exports to a csv file and can be viewed in spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
