How to replace an IDVisor Smart S50 stand charging cable

The instructions below provide step by step details on how to remove and replace the charging cable from an IDVisor Smart S50 charging stand. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver for these steps. 

Step 1: Unscrew all screws on the bottom of the charging stand (2 on both sides and the back). Keep track of the screws as they are very small. 

Step 2: Insert screwdriver into gap on the back right of the bottom plate and lightly wiggle to create a gap between the 2 plates, then separate (it is recommended to turn the scanner upside down and lightly tap the sides of the top plate with the back of a screwdriver to easily separate).

Step 3: Remove the sticker on the top of the stand as well as the 2 screws underneath it. 

Step 4: Remove charging cable by pulling it through the front of the stand (shown in pictures below).

Step 5: Grab your new cable.

Step 6: Screw in gold-pin side of charging cable to the top of the stand (may take some time & precision). 
Step 7: Slide charging cable through to the bottom of the stand. 

Step 8: Make sure the charging cable neatly and tightly fits in-between the bottom and top plates and there is no excess length being let out to the gold pin charger or the USB coming out of the back. 

Step 9: Re-screw the top plate back to the bottom of the stand.
