How to upload a Tag list on an AgeVisor 3

Description: If you have list of customers that you would like to ban, make VIP, etc. You can upload a tag list on to your AgeVisor 3. 

Before proceeding to the instructions. See below on how you can create a Tag List for the AgeVisor 3. 

How to create a Tag List
1. Create Tag List in Microsoft Excel. The column format should be as followed: Last Name, First Name, ID Number, Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY), Tag Code (see default tag codes in image below).

Name the tag list Banned_VIP and save in a csv format. For help on saving a file in csv format see here.

Tag list should NOT include column headers. All fields are not necessary except Last Name, First Name, and Tag Code. Please be aware the more fields completed will provide more accurate results.

Instructions: Follow the directions provided to upload a tag list to your AgeVisor 3.

Note: If using an Apple product please visit https://www.android.com/filetransfer/ and download the Transfer tool.





1. Connect your AgeVisor 3 to your computer. Once your AV3 is connected to your computer. Open File Explorer . 

Click on PDA on the left column, then double click Internal Shared Storage.



2. Once in Internal Shared Storage, double click Documents.



4. Double click on the AV3 folder. 



5. Once in the AV3 folder, copy the created Banned_VIP csv file into the folder.

  1. Tap the gear symbolon the top left of the scanning screen. Tap on Exit Application (default pin code: 5678).



2. Swipe left and tap on the Gmail app to Open. 


 

3. Open the message sent with the attached Banned_VIP.csv file. Tap on the download icon to download the file to your device. 

Once downloaded, swipe right to back out of the Gmail app.
 


4. Open the Files app on your device. 





5. Move the Banned_VIP file to the AV3 folder by following the steps.
  1. Tap on Downloads.
  2. Look for Banned_VIP.csv and tap the 3 dots to the right.
  3. Select Move to from the option list.
  4. Select Documents.
  5. Select AV3.
  6. Tap Move here at the bottom of the screen. 

 

The Banned_VIP.csv file will now be in the AV3 folder. Swipe right on the screen to back out to the main screen and tap AgeVisor 3 to return to the app. 
 1. Start by adding the Tag List to AgeVisor 3. You can add your tag list using your computer via USB or Gmail. 



2. Once the file has been added and the app started back up, tap on the gear  symbol on the top left hand of the screen. 



3. Tap on Device Setup.


 

4. Tap on Configuration.



5. Tap on Advanced. 



6. Select Import Tags. 



7. Select Import. 



8. Once imported, you will receive a message on the bottom of the screen saying "Successfully Imported/Updated X Tags". 

NOTE: IF your receive any errors or it shows a tag could not be uploaded, please review your tag list to ensure it is in the correct format, and does not have any "," commas on the list. 


9. To view your imports tap on View Imports. You should see all your imported tags here.
