IDentiFake stuck on Restarting Service after Engine Update


Follow the steps below if your IDentiFake is not pulling in IDs or stuck on Restarting service after updating the IDentiFake Engine.




  1. Close the IDentiFake application by going to Help > Close application.



  1. Tap on the windows start button and go to Add and Remove Programs.



  1. Look for AssureID Sentinel (x64) under Installed apps.



  1. Tap on the 3 dots to the right then click Modify.




  1. Once the Installation Wizard is up on the screen click on Next.

Select the Repair option and tap Next.

Tap Install.

Once done, tap Finish.

Restart the Surface tablet or computer.
