If receiving a Windows error message “This app can’t run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher” when trying to update your IDentiFake it can be due to one of the following reasons below.
- Corrupt or Incomplete Installation File – If the file is damaged or incomplete, Windows may not be able to run it.
- Administrator Permissions – Some apps require admin rights to run.
- Security or Antivirus Blocking It – Windows Defender or another antivirus program may be preventing it from running.
Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
Step 1) On your Surface or device IDentiFake is installed on open Microsoft Edge .
Step 2) Visit https://support.tokenworks.com/portal/en/kb/articles/update-error. This will bring you to this same support page on your device.
Step 3) Tap on the link below to download the latest IDentiFake updater. This will begin the download.
Step 4) Once the download is complete, tap on the download to open in File Explorer.
Tap Extract all.
Step 5) Once extracted, double tap idvisorsentry_update to run the update.
NOTE: Before running the update file, ensure the IDentiFake program is completely closed and not running.
Follow the on screen prompts to complete the update.
Once completed, the IDentiFake loading will pop up and then load the IDentiFake software up once all checks are complete.
